Vet within the first 72 hours of obtaining the puppy
Health guarantee does not cover what in the Shih-Tzu breed
is considered normal: cherry eye, **stenotic nares, **Tight
Nostrils, under bite, & **hernias. In the event that a hernia
is determined to be currently life-threatening such that it
renders the puppy unfit for purchase, surgical repair
reimbursement will be considered only after receiving
certification as to this condition by a qualified veterinarian.

the certifying veterinarian and/or allow the seller’s
veterinarian to communicate with the certifying veterinarian.
Seller also reserves the right to determine the appropriate
reimbursement amount.
The SELLER assumes no shipping costs associated with initial
sale or for warranty replacements. The seller assumes no

disapproval, allergy, or any other undesirable circumstances
once the dog has left the seller's premises and illness is
beyond the incubation period while within the sellers care.
There are many factors that can influence growth and
development, such as diet, exercise, weight gain, etc.. The
BUYER assumes the responsibility to carry on with the
appropriate vaccinations, exercise and feeding schedule. The
BREEDER can offer no further guarantees once the care of the
puppy is no longer under their control.
**Umbilical
hernias and tight/pinched nostrils are relatively common in the
Shih Tzu...it is our experience that the swelling caused by
teething in the brachycephalic breeds is frequently diagnosed by
veterinarians as stenotic nares ...the condition is almost
always outgrown by 6 months of age without veterinary
intervention. Umbilical hernias are of little
consequence...if you are concerned about these "imperfections",
please ask if the puppy you are interested in is
affected...umbilical hernias can usually be detected by two to
three weeks of age...tight nostrils may not be evident until 4-6
weeks when the puppy starts teething. Small Inguinal
hernias often close on their own without any concern, larger
inguinal hernias may require Veterinary care.
